How to lift a dog to avoid injury to the dog or yourself

A self-directed, action-oriented professional with over 10 year's experience in education and community service
When lifting a dog up on the table or just lifting it period, put one arm around its fore chest and the other arm under its rump. Bend your knees and use your knees to lift.

This is the only correct way to lift a dog. You lift larger dogs in the same exact way.Whether taking them from their owner of lifting them from the tub, never lift a dog by its legs, rib cage or any other manner than the way just explained.
