My Story

  A Short Profile & History

 Bevarly Latham
 
     

         All my family has always loved animals

         I have owned, and operated my own pet grooming salon in Sonora, California from 1988, until just after the untimely death of my husband in September 1998. It was at this point that I decided to dedicate my time for the sole purpose of teaching others the wonderful and rewarding career of pet grooming.
           I received most of her training in San Ramon, California by a master groomer. Then received a certificate through the Summit University of Louisiana.
         Experiences include long-time membership in local kennel clubs, professional dog training, dog showing, working in pet stores (that did not sell puppies or kittens!), and pet care talk shows on local radio stations.

In grade school as I walk home, I would often find some poor animal. Usually a dog, I would coaxes it, and drag it if I had to, all the way up the mile long hill to our house.
As I approached the door, I would call to my mother "Mom, this dog followed me home! Can I keep her?" Well, Mom was on to me from the start. Because she too loved animals. As did everyone in our family history.

Every generation on my mother's side had high regards for animals. They all had pictures of the pets. Grandpa Salisbury. I am not sure how many great, great to add. Below is a tin picture from our family Bible.
